Showcasing GRADE A PLUS at the Sweden–Lebanon Sustainable Fashion Event

 On Saturday, March 26, 2022, GRADE A PLUS proudly participated in the Sweden–Lebanon Sustainable Fashion Event, hosted by FabricAID in collaboration with the Embassy of Sweden in Beirut. Held at FabricAID’s headquarters in Mkalles, this event brought together stakeholders, innovators, and changemakers to promote circular fashion, sustainable textiles, and community-driven design.

As one of the local eco-conscious initiatives, GRADE A PLUS showcased its very first product at the time, our handcrafted sheep wool blanket, designed as a healthier, sustainable alternative to synthetic materials. This opportunity allowed us to introduce our mission to revive Lebanese wool, reduce textile and agricultural waste, and reconnect people with natural materials that are both functional and culturally rooted.

The day was filled with powerful panel discussions, live music, a clothes swap experience, and community networking, all centered on the vision of making fashion more inclusive and environmentally responsible. It was an inspiring moment for GRADE A PLUS to stand alongside forward-thinking initiatives that, like us, are working toward a future where fashion empowers people and protects the planet.
